Born in Ojai, raised in Lake Tahoe, and having lived in San Francisco, Seattle, Santa Fe and now Oakland, Alyson obviously only believes in living in the most beautiful places. She takes this to heart when it comes to living and work spaces as well... not to mention FileMaker Databases.

With early training in Access database design, Alyson found herself being slowly drawn to the world of Mac and FileMaker, consistently finding ways to improve the form and function of each of her previous employers' databases. Now, working with FileMaker experts at Beezwax, she's happy learning more about her favorite software program, and astounded by the possibilities.

Alyson received a BFA in Painting from San Francisco Art Institute in 1994. A painter in her spare time, she's interested in modern art (especially charcoal drawings), design, music, and spending time with her better half, Martin!
