Sean joins us with an extensive knowledge of the Macintosh platform as well as FileMaker Pro. He wears several hats at Beezwax, serving as an IT Consultant, Business Process Consultant, and FileMaker Pro Developer.

Sean likes to say that he had a front row seat for the birth of the commercial Internet as he began his career in IT at Cisco when they only had four buildings (their campus now has hundreds) and there were only a couple places to go on the web. While at Cisco, he single-handedly supported 400 Macintosh computers in one building and later developed and managed the process by which Cisco could deploy computers to Cisco's nearly 100 new hires per week during that time.

He then went on to work at Adobe Systems and helped to design and implement their help desk policies. While there, he designed a fully automated system that tied FileMaker Pro with Excel to create a weekly IT report for the CIO. He later successfully started his own FileMaker Pro consulting business and has solutions in use that have been used to generate over a million dollars in sales.

His most recent venture was nearly five years with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where he was a Senior Mac Systems Engineer and FileMaker Pro developer responsible for creating a FileMaker solution which managed the workload of 150 technicians and three help desks. He held a top-secret clearance and did his part to increase national security. One of his projects reduced the number of hard drives in use in the classified environment by implementing a completely diskless system for 60+ engineers.

Sean has a knack for explaining complex IT issues in layman's terms and has taught several classes in FileMaker Pro, Mac OS and Microsoft Office. When he's not working, he's going to school, riding his motorcycle, or doing home improvement. His favorite slogan is, "Laziness prompts innovation" and it inspires him to innovate new ways to relax. One day, he swears he's going to stop innovating and actually relax.
