Hope was born and raised in Southern California, and has spent the last 35 years in Mendocino. She began using computers in the mid 80's, primarily beta testing her husband's software creations.

She was an independent bookstore owner for many years, loves research and new ideas, growing things, and creating beautiful spaces.

She recently returned from three years on Hawaii's Big Island where she was growing Kona coffee and managing high-end properties.

Her experience in extreprenuerial businesses has exposed her to end-user computer experiences that gives her compassion in helping new users.
