Tara Ingram

Tara has been working happily with Beezwax since 2005. Her history with FileMaker Pro is much longer, beginning in 1992 with version 2. Like many developers, Tara taught herself FileMaker while building a database system on the job. During this time, she simultaneously attended UC Davis to earn a B.A. in Physics, and a second B.A. in History and Philosophy of Science.

Upon graduation, she led a small team of database developers at Pacific Response, building a very sophisticated system managing all aspects of a business with 100 employees and two offices.

Since then Tara has used her strong project management and database development skills as a consultant. She has over ten years of experience as a consultant developing databases for a range of clients: non-profit, for-profit, education and government. She has a flexible project management style, with experience in a range of project formats from structured & well defined to dynamic & chaotic.

Tara has also earned a Ph.D. in Psychology and it shows in her intuition and communication skills which support her work as a programmer and project manager exceptionally well. Although she has designed custom databases for fifteen years, Tara still craves the challenge and personal satisfaction in helping organizations run more smoothly. Tara helps lead Beezwax’s efforts to offer more non-technical ways of supporting our clients’ workflow and internal management.
