Mac-oriented IT engineer

Position
We are looking for someone with a heavily Mac-related IT background, adept at managing the network and IT infrastructure for a central office, co-located servers and remote team. Our team is almost exclusively Mac-based (with iPhones too, of course), though also do some work with Windows (for QuickBooks and testing, mostly) and Linux/*nix.
You should have:
- solid knowledge of IT including networking, sysadmin, mailserver, security, database, etc.
- familiarity with Windows and Linux/UNIX/Mac OS X
- excellent communication skills
- proven reliability
- Hands-on experience with FileMaker Pro or Web development is a plus
- Desire to learn FileMaker Pro or Web development is also a plus
The ideal applicant will be able to enthusiastically perform job functions with a minimum of structure and supervision, and be able to thrive in an informal, creative, entrepreneurial company.
You should be interested in working as part of a smaller firm, although experience freelancing or working at a larger corporation is valuable.
Compensation
Beezwax offers compensation at competitive market rates, depending on expertise and experience.
