Info Updater™ is an automated, customizable solution to update the information in your FileMaker Pro contact management system.

The Info Updater™ sends your selected contacts an email containing the key info you have for them, and a secure link to a web form -- on your own website -- where they can easily edit that information. You can then update your database with one click! You can use the Updater an unlimited number of times, on an unlimited number of contact records.

And since this is a customizable solution, the fields you wish to update can be of your choosing, specific to what you want to know about the people in your database. (The basic contact fields, such as name, address, etc., are included by default.) The email in which you request the updates can be part of a broader message to your contacts, and can be personalized for them, leveraging any information that is stored in the database. We can customize the Info Updater™ to allow you to review any edits before loading them into your database -- and many other enhancements are available.

There are other methods of automatically updating contact information, but nothing else that ties directly into your FileMaker system, fits your website, and handles any data you want.

To integrate Info Updater™ with your custom contact management solution, pricing is as follows; please inquire for a full estimate.

  • $2,500.00 for Info Updater™, including integration with your FileMaker database and website. (This assumes that your database has a standard structure, your ISP has readily-available technical support, etc.)
  • $150/hr to customize the Info Updater™ with non-standard fields from your database, or if your database has a non-standard structure.
  • $100/hr for advanced integration of the Info Updater™ Web form with your website's look and feel (if your website has a non-standard structure).
