Jon joins the Beezwax team with years of experience as both a corporate employee and an independent developer. At one of the country’s largest publishers, he designed and managed the development of a book production database responsible for sales of a billion dollars worth of textbooks each year.

Like many FileMaker developers, Jon came to FileMaker indirectly. After attending the University of Miami for a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Jon designed medical devices. He believes that this experience helped teach him to design powerful interfaces that are simple to use. Jon enjoys sharing his FileMaker knowledge with others; he is a past DevCon presenter and has written a number of articles for leading FileMaker-oriented publications.

In his spare time, Jon collects fountain pens, for their combination of craftsmanship and historical significance. He’s also learning to play bass guitar and enjoys photography.

Jon is continuously updating his FileMaker knowledge and skills in order to help him design the best possible systems for Beezwax clients.
