Mekuria Getinet

Mekuria came to Beezwax as a UX designer with over 15 years experience in user interface, brand, web and print design.

Mekuria is a designer who codes, and brings his skills to projects with thought and creativity. Before joining Beezwax, he was the lead designer of a browser-based design studio that creative agencies and publishers use to build HTML5-based ads for mobile, tablet and desktop browsers. He started his career as an in-house designer at a large architectural firm in San Francisco, where he was in charge of rebranding the firm and setting new design standards that equipped them for a modern market. In his free time, Mekuria enjoys time with family, photography, tinkering with home automation projects and taking things apart to see how they work.
