Position

Once accepted as a candidate, you will be invited to join us for a 4-month paid apprenticeship. There you will be matched with technical mentors, guiding you and other apprentices through our custom-tailored curriculum learning professional FileMaker development. A program manager will also support your learning about our consulting business and non-technical processes for our company. 

The first 3 months will be dedicated to learning FileMaker, followed by a shorter curriculum in Tableau. In the 4th month of the program you will work directly with development teams on projects for some of the largest companies in the South Bay Area.  

Those who do well in this apprenticeship will be offered a full-time role as a Junior Software Developer at Beezwax. 

Requirements

  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.  
  • Students from non-traditional schools are welcome!  
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with both FileMaker and Tableau is a plus but not required.  
  • Interest in JS/React/Node, Ruby/Rails or Swift/iOS is a plus.

Compensation: $31,000.
