Jay Gonzales

Director of Program Management

Jay’s career-long passion has been helping customers solve their most difficult problems through innovative technology. Prior to joining Beezwax as Technical Project Manager, he managed product marketing and development for software companies including Nuance, MacSpeech, WorldSync, 4D and StarNine. He has brought to market more than two dozen commercial software applications, including several award-winning products.

Jay started his high-tech career building FileMaker databases for his Sales teams to manage client relationships. Soon after he helped launch the first Web-based hotel and airline reservation systems. Since then, he’s supported a wide range of customers implementing web applications, e-commerce, speech recognition, mobile apps and data integration.

These days he’s especially interested in User Experience, and nascent technologies for accessibility and social media. He also loves teaching, and has regularly presented workshops for Apple Retail Stores, User Groups, and technology conferences.

In his free time, Jay enjoys playing basketball and soccer, traveling to sunny locations with his family, rooting for his beloved Golden State Warriors and SF Giants (“3-time World Champs!”), and volunteering as a youth soccer coach and referee.
