David Jondreau

A native New Yorker transplanted to the Southwest, David grew up with the mix of early internet-based personal computing and family-based entrepreneurship that led to using a FileMaker solution he built to manage every aspect of running a multi-million dollar company. After exiting, he settled into the life of a FileMaker developer. Along the way, he has worked as a barista, rugby coach, lighting grip, and cobbler.

Over the years, he has consulted with dozens of businesses on their FM solutions, building dozens of systems of which he’s very proud. He adores the puzzle-solving aspect of coding and is certified in FileMaker 9 through the current version. He was a speaker at the 2019 FileMaker developer’s conference and a Claris Community Leader. With a BA in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, David sympathizes with the emotional and cognitive obstacles that users face when interacting with software.

In his spare time, David plays tabletop games with his kids, hikes with his wife, and runs in the mountains with his dog. He also enjoys performing improv and lifting heavy things.
